What would you think if you could see the aftermath of your death? When do we realise that we are in fact dead? Perhaps the Wake is not just a journey for the bereaved, perhaps it is a journey for the dead too, a rite of passage to what lies beyond this world. This is a story told from the point of one such soul as he joins his family in coming to terms with his own death through a uniquely Irish ritual.
